ACTive Prep
ACTive Prep is a self guided prepratory program which introduces students to the ACT examination. Students work at their own pace through the practice sessions. This program helps the student identify areas in need of extra study as well as areas of strength.Students who registered to participate in this program were assigned to one of four groups.
ACT Examination
ITA will be offering the ACT Examination this year. Students should see their counselor to receive information and examination registration packets. Starting in 2005, the ACT started offering an optional writing portion. Please check with your college to see if they require students to take the writing portion.
Test Time: 2 hours 55 minutes
Grade Level: Juniors, Seniors (may reregister/retest)
Registration Cost: $22.00
Skills Assessed: English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science Reasoning

SAT & Subject Tests
Test Time: 3 hours 45 minutes
Grade Level: Juniors, Seniors (may reregister/retest)
Registration Cost: $41.50
Skills Assessed: Critical Reading, Mathematics, and Writing
The SAT II subject tests are one-hour primarily multiple-choice that measure your knowledge of particular subjects and your ability to apply that knowledge. You may take up to three tests on any SAT test date (you cannot take both SAT and Subject Tests on one day). The cost of registration is $18 and $8 per test ($19 for Language Test with Listening).
